Who am I?

Hello, my name is Melissa Terruzzi, I am 23 years old and I am a student of Food Engineering at the Universidad de Chile.

I was born in a small town in Italy, called Como, belonging to the province of Lombardy. I arrived in Chile when I was very young, and I lived in Santiago, Temuco and Padre las Casas, to finally arrive to what would be my definitive home in Cunco. A small town located in the south of Chile.

My family consists of my parents and two younger brothers, Piero (21) and Lorenzo (15).

We lived in the countryside, so my only childhood friend for adventures and mischief was my brother Piero. I remember the cold winters playing with ice, longing for snow, pedaling in the rain barefoot and the summers, lots and lots of afternoons at the swimming pool, the lake and movie afternoons. I enjoyed hammering and "working" in the fields with my dad.

Well, here is a picture that I love even though I am missing almost all my teeth 😅

My favorite activities were reading, basketball, drawing, swimming and photography.

When I turned 18, I moved to Santiago to study at the University and I left many of my hobbies behind, but I discovered many other things that I also like, such as bicycling, going to the gym and watching series. Of course, I realized how much I missed the mountains and camping weekends. So in these summer months I took the opportunity to go out with my brothers.

I like my university career, I like Santiago and I adore my friends who became my second family. I have very good friends that have made of these university years, the best of my life.

Here's a picture with my friends on a random Friday afternoon at the university.

P.S. I miss Fridays very much 😭😭
