"A photo and its story"

Hello! Today I want to show you this picture taken last summer 2021.  The person who pressed the shutter was my best friend Luis, who was also the guide to get to this waterfall called "El Canelo". 

In the picture I am with my two younger brothers; Piero and Lorenzo, and in the background clearly the waterfall. 

I like photography, especially portrait photography and there are many photographers whom I admire a lot, but I decided to show this picture today for two reasons:

First, it is the only photo where we are the three brothers together and it makes me think that there is something "good" that I can rescue from the pandemic; that after several years we have returned to live together and share as brothers .

Secondly, it is special to me because it reflects a lot of good things... since I left for college I haven't had a summer off to enjoy the beautiful places in Cunco. And this summer I had time to go to waterfalls, to Conguillio National Park, to go paddling in the lake and to go on weekend hikes with my brothers. In short, this photo reminds me that we did many things together, and that we had a great time in each of them.

Also, I want to comment that I was surprised by how little I know my own "territory". Actually, I didn't even know that there were so many waterfalls around here... And well, Conguillio National Park and Sollipulli are gigantic... so I take this opportunity to invite you to the "Novena región de Chile, Araucanía" (when there is no Coronavirus). And I hope you come with a lot of desire to walk and explore.
