English 4, Post 6, 'Time Travel to the future'
Whenever I see movies about people traveling back in time, I always imagine myself traveling to find out the lottery results, or thinking about how my trip would benefit me financially. Maybe I would travel a century or two forward to see how the world has changed, back to my time with new technologies or something like that. The truth is that it's much more tempting to travel back in time and change certain things.
But honestly, I can't imagine any exact time in the future where I would like to go, let alone stay. A few days ago I lost a friend in an accident and it made me think a lot. I felt guilt, sadness, denial... and after several days of grieving, I realized that, unfortunately, things happen. And that they happen when and how they have to happen. That is why I would not like to travel to the future, because I would not like to know how and when certain things happen. I think it would only serve to live in torment.
I prefer to dedicate myself to live and enjoy the present and my loved ones as much as I can. To marvel at the surprises that life has in store for us and to learn to face the difficult moments, because that's what it's all about, isn't it?

Checked.
